Danteco has a long history of supplying flexible metal bitumen hose for its bitumen container and bitumen tank container designs with products used in its operational activities. We have grown into an international company servicing customers with our brand Guard in many parts of the world.
Our products are used in conjunction with the storage and logistics of Bitumen, asphalt emulsion, and distribution.
The bitumen industry requires a high level of safety for its operators and appliances. Danteco products used in the bitumen industry have been tested for their suction and pressure capabilities of both the core product and each assembly supplied.
The materials used have been selected to provide a product suitable for high temperatures, the specific application, and the operator's safety. The flexible metal hoses can be cleaned out after use without damaging the structure of the hose.
They are used in conveying hot Bitumen, Asphalt, and Emulsion products as suction and delivery hoses with bitumen containers, road, and rail tankers. As the link between the tanker and the pump, in tank farms, and for general applications where higher temperature and pressures are involved, corrosive or abrasive environments are present.
Danteco supplies high-quality stainless steel corrugated, wire braiding, and strip wound metal hoses and assemblies in a bore size range from DN80 to DN100. An extensive range of end connection fittings, including AS 2475, BSP, and NPT threaded flanges and pipe ends, can be attached to the hoses to form custom-made assemblies. These hose assemblies can be covered with stainless steel spring guards to protect the hose from impacts and abrasion. Danteco supplies a stainless steel braided corrugated hose assembly for Bitumen dispensing applications, incorporating a high-temperature insulation layer for enhanced operator safety.
A corrugated flexible metallic hose with standard pitch annular corrugations, hydroformed from butt welded precision tube. The depth and shape of the corrugations provide good flexibility and cycle life. In addition, the U-shape of the corrugations gives the hose a self-draining feature, of particular interest bitumen industry requiring regular hose cleaning. Ideal for the conveyance of liquid Bitumen in a range of temperatures up to +300°C; however, note as the temperature rises, the pressure capability rating of the hose reduces.
